Respite Workers - #2013 – RW The Respite Worker is required to perform all duties usually performed by family caregivers in the day-to-day support of children, adults or seniors with a disability or chronic health condition in accordance with Wesway’s philosophy. The Respite Worker communicates with families regarding periods of respite, develops interesting and stimulating activities that are participant-focused, maintains a positive attitude with all participants and their families and demonstrates flexibility and creativity in providing respite support to families. Respite is provided at variable times including days, evenings and weekends. Respite Workers are matched with families or at our Respite Homes according to their abilities, experience, availability and the needs of the families.
