Landfill Leachate Improvements
Phase 1: Lift Station and Forcemain
Sealed tenders marked Landfill Leachate Improvements –
Contract 12, 2021 will be received on the steps of City Hall,
500 Donald St E, Thunder Bay, ON P7E 5V3 by the Supply
Management Representative, between 11:00am and no later
than 12:00 noon, local time on:
TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021
Supply Management will place a clearly marked container to receive tenders,
at the front of City Hall. The container will be made available to receive
tenders one hour prior to closure and removed at time of closing. The
container will be monitored by a Supply Management Representative. Public
tender openings have been suspended due to COVID-19 precautions.
Unofficial tender results will be posted within seventy-two (72) business
hours on the City’s Tenders website
The clock used to identify the time that the container is present, to the
time that the container is removed, will be the clock on the Supply
Management Representative’s cellular telephone.
Bidders may visit the Site at their own time. However Bidders shall check in
with the Landfill Administration office upon arrival to inform the staff
that they are touring the site. Bidders shall wear PPE including masks,
hardhat, vest and boots.
Under this Contract:
Approximately 7.2 km of new HDPE forcemain and sewermain, new lift station,
electrical upgrades, site grading works, other related appurtenances, and
landscaping restorations.

Barrett at 807-629-4847. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 per tender package
is required upon pick–up (cheque to be made payable to KGS Group).
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
