has an immediate opening for the following position:
(Temporary full time with the possibility of permanent employment)
Position Summary: This position requires an organized individual who is
self-motivated with good time management skills. Under the direct
supervision of the Acting Housing Manager, the Finance Clerk will complete
all bookkeeping which the majority of data will be computerized using both
Excel spreadsheet applications and a property management system.
Included is account payable, receivables and revenue accounts. Other
duties many be assigned.
Also responsible for daily deposits and bank reconciliation. Complete
computer work regarding files/worksheets that pertain to the position.
Complete vendor financial information. Should have good interpersonal and
teamwork skills along with motivation, requiring little or no supervision.
It is preferred that the Finance Clerk possess a secondary education
degree/diploma in the accounting/business administration discipline, along
with a minimum of three years related experience. Must have access to a
vehicle as traveling is involved.
Ability to speak a First Nation language an asset and must be bondable.
