A relationship builder with strong knowledge of Indigenous culture, you will be responsible for enhancing communications with our Indigenous community partners, coordinating the Aboriginal Perspectives course, assisting in the development of Indigenous course content, providing direct support to students enrolled in the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, and supporting Indigenous recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts.
Your University degree and three years of relevant experience involving Indigenous outreach are complemented by strong knowledge of Indigenous cultures, communities, customs, practices, and communication styles. Knowledge of an Indigenous language and membership in the Law Society of Upper Canada with a licence to practice in Ontario would be considered an asset.
